WWMC 2021 united specialists from 12 scientific disciplines and 30 countries for two days of keynote presentations, paper sessions, roundtable discussions, and special performances — held entirely online.

Roundtable discussions were held with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and MusicCare. Conference proceedings were published in two peer-reviewed volumes by Springer.
